AnimeChat is NOT a dating platform. It's a community for anime and manga fans to chat about shared interests. Romantic or sexual solicitation is not permitted.
Treat all users with respect. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or nationality.
Nudity, sexual content, and adult content of any kind are strictly prohibited — in text chat, video chat, communities, and direct messages. Graphic violence is also not allowed. AI and manual moderation are used to enforce this.
Do not expose yourself on camera. No nudity, underwear-only appearances, or sexually explicit behavior or gestures. Violations result in an immediate ban.
Do not ask users for personal contact information (phone numbers, social media handles, etc.) or redirect them off-platform without a meaningful reason related to anime/manga discussion.
AnimeChat is for users 18 and older. If you encounter someone who appears to be a minor, do not interact — report them immediately. Impersonating a minor is prohibited and results in immediate termination.
Do not use the platform to facilitate illegal activities, including sharing pirated content, drugs, or weapons.
Do not send spam, phishing links, or promotional content without permission. Do not impersonate other users or staff.
Automated bots and scripts are not allowed. Users found using bots will be banned.
Use the in-chat report button to flag violations. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly. See our Terms of Service for enforcement actions.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity. VIP status does not exempt users from these rules.
